Received as an ARC, I am leaving my honest review. I quickly became captivated by this incredible journey of a young woman, whose destiny echoes of a past that remembers what life used to be, before the Empire came. As she learns who she is, she becomes aware of her magic, and her firepower. Determined to defeat the Empire and rebuild her world, she discovers others who show her the way, and vow to stand with her. This danger filled mission unfolds with beautifully detailed images and remnants of past songs which grow louder as each milestone is uncovered. She has a constant theme which keeps her power wonderfully checked, even though it is difficult. Enemies are everywhere, making for a very tense, action packed plot that is gripping and addictive. The epic ending hints at more and has me anticipating the next book

This book is a masterpiece. I loved every word of it. I have never read a book quite like it, with the flowering words that seems like prose to me.
